Terms & Conditions
The short version: use the tool freely, check the figures before you spend money on them, and the site is provided as is.

1.Acceptance of these terms
By using livemonitorsizecomparison.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the site.
2.Use of the website
- The tool is free to use for personal and commercial purposes. No account, payment, or registration is required.
- You may share any link the tool produces, including links that preload a comparison for someone else.
- You may not use the site to break the law, to attack it or another host, or to redistribute it as your own work.
3.Accuracy of the figures
Every measurement the tool prints is calculated from the diagonal, the aspect ratio, the resolution, and the panel count you enter, using standard geometry. It is not read from a manufacturer’s specification sheet.
That has a consequence worth being explicit about. The figures are estimates. A panel’s usable area is smaller than its stated size because of the bezel, a curved screen bows away from the plane the drawing is flat in, a manufacturer rounds its diagonal down, and desk depth on your side of the world will not match the number you typed in. Treat the output as a well-founded estimate, not as a measurement of a specific product.
Viewing distances, pixel density, and the point at which pixels stop resolving are conventions of display ergonomics, not clinical findings. If you are deciding on a medical or accessibility matter, this tool is the wrong instrument.
4.Your responsibilities
- Check any figure before you rely on it, particularly for a purchase you cannot return.
- Do not attempt to disrupt the site, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or use it to host or distribute unlawful material.
- Contact-form messages must be lawful and relevant. We may decline to answer one.
5.Intellectual property
The site’s design, code, copy, and the Monitor Size Comparison name are the property of its author. You may use, link to, quote, and screenshot the site freely, including commercially.
The arithmetic behind the tool is not protectable as such, so you are welcome to reimplement the same approach. Please do not present a copy of the site as your own.
Monitor and television names that appear in comparisons belong to their respective manufacturers, which do not endorse or sponsor this site.
6.Third-party services and links
The contact form is delivered by Formspree and the site is served by a third-party host. Those services are used under their own terms, and this site does not control them.
Links out to a manufacturer, a review, or a social profile are provided for convenience. We do not control those pages and are not responsible for what they say or how they use your data.
7.Limitation of liability
The site is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy. To the fullest extent the law allows, the author is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or your reliance on its output.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Because the service is free and runs on your own device, the amounts at stake in any claim are small by nature. Nothing here is intended to change how a court in your jurisdiction treats liability that the law does not permit parties to waive.
8.Availability and changes
The site may be changed, interrupted, or withdrawn at any time, and no guarantee is given that it will remain available or that any feature will be kept.
9.Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the site changes. The revision date at the top of this page tells you when that last happened, and continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
10.Contact
Questions about these terms can go through the contact form. See also the Privacy Policy for what happens to a message you send.
